BOOK STALL

CHRISTMAS FETE
Friday 16th December. Children will have entry during school hours 2-3pm – you may wish to supply your child with some money to spend at the fete. Open to all 3.30-5pm. Raffle drawn 4.45pm. CHRISTMAS DISCOS
Thursday 8th December. (KS1 4.30-5.30pm - Sweets and chocolates as entry donation). (KS1 includes all nursery children). (KS2 5.45-6.45pm – Bottles as entry donation). SECOND HAND UNIFORM SALES
The sales held during Parent’s Evenings were a great success and raised over £295. Many thanks to all that helped in any way. We continue to collect unwanted uniform items (including wellies) at the school gates every Friday. The next sales will be during Parent’s Evenings in March 2012. More details to follow. In response to queries we have received: Please note that the disco on the 18th of May is a School event NOT a PTA event. We understand that there will be an £1 fee and all drinks and snacks are chargeable to raise funds for the school. PTA has organised discos a free entry basis with first drink and snack free. SCHOOL DISCOS
The School Disco was held on 25th November. The objective was to let the kids have a good time and I think this was achieved. The objective was not to raise money but £198 was added to our funds by converting existing stock into cash. Thanks to all the people who helped/volunteered both PTA and school members. XMAS SHOPPING

BRING AND BUY SALE
Organised by the PTA with school cooperation. As a result of the children’s efforts, the money raised has been given (via the school) to each class,and the children will decide how to spend their £50 per class. SCHOOL DISCOS
The school discos are this week (Thursday June 24th). 500-600pm KS1 (R, Y1, Y2). 615-715pm KS2 (Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6). Entrance is a bit different this year. We are asking for chocolate and sweets. BRING & BUY SALE
Thursday 1st July at 2pm - all are welcome. Please donate any unwanted complete (good condition) toys, books, games or DVDs to school between 28th June and 1st July (max 5 items). All proceeds from the sale will be split equally between each class. The PTA will also be running a lucky dip stall and confectionary tombola and selling tattoo transfers and banging balloons!
